The Before School Program (7:00 – 8:30 am) and the After School Program (3:00 – 6:30 pm) are available to all children enrolled in the school. In addition, school-age children through Middle School can enroll and attend when Kay School is open. These programs offer a range of enrichment activities and ample opportunities for free play, quiet time, and homework support.
Children may also sign up for special enrichment programs offered from time to time by visiting artists and other professionals throughout the school year. These programs are selected and designed to complement regular school offerings.
On school days, school-age children attending the Before School Program are escorted to the bus stop near Kay School, where they are picked up by their school’s bus or, by special arrangement, are transported to their school, in a Kay School bus. On school days, school-age children in the After School Program are met at the bus stop near Kay School and are escorted to the school or, by special arrangement, are picked up at their school and transported to Kay School. Children may be dropped off as early as 7:00 am and picked up as late as 6:30 pm. Bus transportation to nearby schools is available for a modest surcharge of $25/month.
Enrollment in these programs can occur at any time during the year as long as space is available. Enrollment in either or both programs can be for two, three, four, or five days a week. Please find enrollment applications and costs on our Admissions page.
